Special Conditions

  • All delivery and handling fees are in addition to the price of the hamper.
  • Deliveries are not available to PO Box addresses.
  • Deliveries will not be dispatched until all funds are received by Australian Country Hampers.
  • No deliveries will be made on weekends and public holidays. In most circumstances orders will be dispatched within one business day of receipt.
  • Australian Country Hampers cannot accept responsibility or liability if an order is lost or stolen after the package has been delivered in accordance with the delivery instructions.

Order Confirmation

After ordering on line you will receive an email confirmation of your order (if you have provided your email address).

Standard Delivery

Hampers are sent via the Australia Post Parcel Post service.

Delivery fees as a guide for each hamper:

  • Sydney, Wollongong and NSW Central Coast – $10.40
  • Other areas in NSW and Australia wide – $16.00

Estimated delivery times:

  • Sydney, Wollongong and NSW Central Coast – minimum 2 business days
  • Other areas in NSW – 3 to 4 business days
  • Melbourne, Canberra, Brisbane, Adelaide and Hobart – 4 to 5 business days
  • Other Capital cities – 5 to 6 days
  • Other interstate locations – please ask

Express Delivery

Hampers are sent via the Australia Post Express Post service.

Delivery fees as a guide for each hamper:

  • Sydney, Wollongong and NSW Central Coast – $14.40
  • Other areas in NSW and Australia wide – $24.80

Estimated delivery times:

  • For most Capital cities and major regional centres that are part of the Australia Post Express Post network – 2 business days after order received
  • For areas outside of the Australia Post Express Post network – allow an extra 2 business days

Special Delivery Instructions

If no one is home to receive delivery Australia Post couriers will generally leave a card advising that the package is available for pick up at the nearest post office.

The special instructions field on the checkout page on our website allows you to leave specific instructions for the courier such as leave near the front door etc. This is in effect giving permission for the parcel to be left at the premises if no one is home to accept it. Please note that requesting the package to be left unattended does not guarantee that it will be left as ultimately it is up to the discretion of the courier.

Also note that requests for delivery on specific days cannot be guaranteed.

Incorrect Information

Please carefully check the information you provide when submitting an order. Incorrect information can lead to your order being delayed or if your gift hamper is returned and needs to be re-directed or re-delivered, you will incur additional delivery fees. If you have provided incorrect information and have requested that your hamper be left at the door we will not be able to recover the hamper and a new order will need to be placed incurring full replacement costs.

Deliveries Returned to Us

Occasionally a hamper will be returned to us for one of the following reasons:

  • A card was left but the recipient did not pick up the package from the post office
  • The recipient is not known at that address or has moved
  • Address details are incorrect or insufficient

We will inform you by email within one week of the hamper being returned to us. Should you require the hamper to be sent to an alternative address a re-delivery fee will apply. Orders returned to Australian Country Hampers cannot be cancelled or refunded.

Bulk Deliveries

Special delivery and pricing arrangements may be possible for bulk orders delivered to the one address. Contact us at to enquire.

Christmas Deliveries

As Christmas is a busy period for Australia Post we recommend you place any orders by 12 December. For deliveries in the Sydney area we will accept orders up to COB on 21 December.


Some hampers contain chocolate which needs to be shipped with an ice pack. As most of these hampers will need to be received within 24 hours of dispatch we strongly recommend selecting the Express Delivery method. Australian Country Hampers will not be liable if chilled items are damaged or unable to be consumed because no one was available to receive the hamper.
